Abstract
В настоящее время проблема продовольственной безопасности стоит особо остро в
некоторых странах региона ЦАЗ, которые в прошлом были «житницами» всего бывшего
Советского Союза – в основном, в Таджикистане и Киргизстане, а также среди бедных
слоев населения и в других странах региона. С другой стороны, такие страны, как
например, Узбекистан, стали нетто‐ экспортерами продовольствия.
Согласно Межправительственной группе экспертов по изменению климата, температура в
регионе ЦАЗ повысится на много больше (на 3.7 °C до 2100 г.), чем по сравнению со
средним повышением температуры в мире (на 2.8°C до 2100 г.). Ожидается сокращение
общего объема ледников на 32% до 2050 года (WBGU, 2007), но в некоторых частях
региона, все ледники исчезнут полностью до 2050 года.
