Migration in both Morocco and Uzbekistan is leading to varying impacts on gender norms in wheat systems. Outmigration is resulting in women undertaking more farm management roles.Migration is leading to changes in gender roles but not necessarily gender norms related to work. As opposed to Uzbekistan, in Morocco despite both male out-migration and the reality of what women are doing, women neither acknowledge themselves or are acknowledged in farm management roles.en_US
