Least Cost Ration Formulation Tool for Sheep

Abstract

This is a simple, robust and accurate tool to formulate least cost ration for ruminants. The tool is merely an excel sheet which use solver add-in to perform linear programming least cost ration formulation. Therefore, enabling macros and solver add-in in excel is essential to run this tool. The tool changes potential feed intake to meet nutrient requirement and other feed limits.
