Reproductive platform for the delivery of improved sheep and goat genetics in Ethiopia

Abstract

This interactive PDF tool describes the functions and the expansion of the reproductive platform established in partnership with the national system in Ethiopia to deliver improved genetics in the framework of Community-based breeding programs (CBBPs). The platform delivers various reproductive services (sires certification, pregnancy diagnosis service delivery, effective synchronization protocols, adapted artificial insemination protocols) and capacity building of the national and regional staff.
