The present study was designed to develop micronutrient-dense chickpea lines, by evaluating the genetic variability and identifying marker trait association for grain protein, Fe and Zn contents. The experiment was conducted using 140 diverse chickpea accessions in two different locations (ICRISAT, Patancheru and ICAR-IIPR, Kanpur) under different environment conditions (normal and late planting).
