CAC Regional Program Progress Report 2014-2016 Highlights of major achievements in the region

Abstract

a) Implemented through two major action sites representing Agro-pastoral and irrigated systems b) More than 15 different activities were accomplished c) Several national institutions and CGIAR and non-CGIAR centers contributed directly or indirectly to the implementation of the CRP Dryland Systems d) Land and water management technologies were generated and out-scaled within the frame-work of CRP-DS e) Capacity of more than 1500 men and women farmers (ICARDA data) researchers, extension experts, and policy makers were strengthened in diverse areas.
