Abstract
ومن هذا المنطلق، تم إعداد الدراسة الحالية في إطار مشروع تطوير نظم إنتاج مستدامة لنخيل التمر في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي.
يهدف مشروع البحث والتطوير الحالي إلى تقديم معلومات وممارسات جديدة لتحسين أنظمة إنتاج نخيل التمر في منطقة الخليج
وتشمل الأنشطة الرئيسية للمشروع تحسين إنتاجية الأصناف المزروعة، ودراسة التنوع الجيني لنخيل التمر.، وإدارة الموارد الطبيعية,
التربة والمياه بشكل فعال لتحقيق الاستفادة القصوى منها، وتحسين استخدام العناصر المختلفة المستخدمة في عملية الزراعة (مثل
الأسمدة، الملقحات، مياه الصرف الزراعي، وما إلى ذلك). ويعد نقل التكنولوجيا إلى الجهات الشريكة وتعزيز تبادل الخبرات بينهم
جزءًا لا يتجزأ من المشروع .
