Trees are known to play very important roles in rural households' livelihoods and resilience of the agriculture systems in the dry areas. In the framework of the Dryland Systems CRP, surveys were conducted on multipurpose trees diversity and ditribution in Koutiala, Mali and Wa in Ghana. The current report presents the preliminary results from the survey conducted in those regions.
