Gender, Livestock, and Livelihoods in Khreisha Villages of Al-Karak

Abstract

The presentation in collaboration with Nadira Al Jawhari (NCARE) outlines research that takes a systems approach to examine the interplay of livestock production (an activity in which women contribute the majority of the labour) and gendered decision making power in the Khreisha community of Karak, Jordan.
