The workshop brought together various regional and national delegates, from ministries, universities and research institutes and international organizations. Throughout the three-day workshop, presentations and discussions were held on the addressing the underlying root causes of agrosilvopastoral ecosystem degradation at the local scale and in different contexts, sustainable rangeland management practices and main representative case studies from the dry areas (MENA or WANA region).
