Abstract
Momordica foetida is a local forage that is widely distributed and grows abundantly in Ethiopia. Although farmers feed its leaves to livestock, it has not been studied for its nutritional value. This study evaluates the feed intake, digestibility, and body weight gain of yearling Bonga sheep fed on Momordica foetida schumach). Its replacement value for concentrate on performance of Bonga sheep and the economic feasibility of feeding this forage is evaluated.
