Abstract
A Diversified Cropping System (DCS) results in more resilient and intensive cropping. In
this case, the cash crop of onions was introduced as an intercrop for lentils. The yield of
lentils is not reduced; hence the system becomes more productive, profitable and
resilient with the introduction of onions.
