Abstract
This chapter attempts to provide a more or less clear picture of the economic valuation
(examination of the costs and benefits on using these technologies- trade-offs with
respect to the conventional ones), and their level of adoption, with special emphasis
on the main factors affecting the adoption of these technologies and limiting their
adoption process in the GCC countries and Yemen.
