Abstract

This Manual is concentrating on direct and practical instructions and recommendations of useful management of saline water and saline soils for agriculture. The guidelines address the specific conditions of the region such as aridity. Even though these guidelines are directed towards some specific regional aspects; they have a global value that should benefit users of saline water in other regions of the world under similar conditions.
