Abstract
يهدف هذا التقرير الذي أنجز في إطار مشروع تطوير نظم الإنتاج المستدامة لنخيل التمر في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي بشبه الجزيرة العربية الى تسليط الضوء على القدرة التنافسية لبلدان مجلس التعاون الخليجي في السوق الدولية للتمور. ويبدأ التقرير بوصف موجز حول انتاج التمور وأنماط الإنتاج واتجاهات الاستهلاك في مختلف بلدان مجلس التعاون الخليجي. ويشمل هذا الجزء الوصفي أيضا عرضا مفصلا لتجارة التمور )اوجه الصادرات والورادات( من الدول المنتجة للتمور. أما في الجزء الثاني من التقرير فقد تم احتساب مجموعة من مؤشرات القدرة التنافسية التي تعكس على نحو أفضل تجارة التمور في كل من دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي العربية
