Occurrence and Distribution of Chickpea Diseases in Central and Southern Parts of India

Abstract

Structured survey was conducted between November and January in the four major chickpea and pigeonpea growing states (Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra) in central and southern parts of India. A GPS based survey sheet was prepared to collect information on disease incidence, soil type, seed treatment with fungicide, cultivars grown by the farmers etc.
