The research aimed to screen faba bean, Chickpea and lentils to diverse herbicides. 50 lentil genotypes were screened to Imizathapyr and Metribuzin; 226 Chickpea lines screened to Imizathapyr and Metribuzin, among them 100 were also screened to Paraquat; 387 faba bean lines were screened to both Imizathapyr and Metribuzin, among them 255 were improved lines for mechanical harvesting. 240 Faba bean lines were also screened to Glyphosate tolerance. The results obtained were 1- 5 lentil lines were tolerant to Metribuzin; 2- 50 Faba bean lines were tolerant to Metribuzin and Imizathpyr, among them 25 improved lines for mechanical harvesting. 3- In chickpea,11 and 1 genotypes were found highly tolerant (toxic symptoms <5%) to both herbicides (Imazethapyr and Metribuzin ).
