Farming with Alternative Pollinators (FAP; Christmann and Aw-Hassan 2012; Christmann et al. 2017) is a new agricultural approach protecting pollinators and predators without rewards for farmers. The farmers get higher net income per surface though or better: because they use a part of the field for habitat enhancement with marketable plants. FAP might be sustainable pollinator protection scalable also in Low and Middle Income Countries. The approach has been tested in Uzbekistan and Morocco - countries with highly differing insect diversity.en_US
