Abstract
This report is highlighting the results of the project activities related to cactus pear evaluation and dissemination. Within the project activities 16 foundation nurseries of 35 exotic spineless fodder cactus species were established in project districts. 36 GP Adaptation & Multiplication nurseries have been established in the project districts to multiply selected cactus species and produce planting materials. Within three years, the project has attained the capacity to produce 86,850 cladodes per year which met the planting requirement of around 139 ha.
