Without well planned adaptation efforts climate change is predicted to affect the agricultural
sector in Eastern Africa and to ultimately reduce agricultural yields and hamper efforts to achieve
food security and reduce hunger. Sustainable watershed management can support improved land
and water management and effective actions on climate change adaptation.
