In 2017, ex ante evaluation of GLDC technologies was based on in terms of the present value of net economic benefits (NPV), internal rates of return (IRR), and benefit-cost ratios (BCR). This year, 2018, the evaluation is expanded to include poverty assessment. In this report, the results on the poverty impacts of GLDC technology are added to those on the economic evaluation of the same technologies. In an effort to guide priority setting, the research and technology options are ranked by mega-environment (ME), based on poverty impacts and on the BCR as a measure of the net economic benefits per unit of investment.
