Abstract
The study will provide key insights to the ongoing work by SEMEAR and also contribute to the USAID Mozambique Country Development Cooperation Strategy (2014-2020), and in particular, insights that could inform programmatic investments aimed at reducing gender gaps in productivity and increasing women’s agency and overall participation in and benefits from agriculture. The research is also linked to the Grain Legumes and Dryland Cereals CGIAR Research Program (GLDC CRP) and will generate information on gender in grains legumes, and dryland cereals seed systems, and thus, contribute to the knowledge base being generated under Strategic Component 4: promoting effective seed dissemination for better delivery of improved cultivars to women smallholders as well as to men.
