Abstract
Total 200 F2 segregated lines ((Ex-Alupe-purple x KNE814) were planted for DNA extraction in polyhouse for DNA extraction at ICRAF, Nairobi, Kenya and later transferred to the Kiboko ICRISAT research station for characterization of snapping trait and also other morphological and agronomical traits.
