| dc.description.abstract | In parallel with developing a Country Programming Framework for 2018–2022 for the Republic of Uzbekistan, FAO has conducted gender analysis in the form of a countrywide gender assessment. This Country Gender Assessment aims to inform the development of strategic objectives at the national level, and it provides recommendations to ensure that gender is taken into consideration in project design and implementation. The following are the most critical issues and gender inequalities relevant to the agricultural and rural development sectors and to food security and nutrition in Uzbekistan that should be given priority in future policy-making and programming. | en_US |
