This study used the HYDRUS-1D (Šimůnek et al., 2008a) software to simulate crop transpiration and evaporation from winter wheat/fallow fields. We analyze three alternative water management regimes: full irrigation (FI), high deficit irrigation (HDI), and low deficit irrigation (LDI), all under deep and shallow water table conditions in the Fergana Valley.en_US
