The poster on "Organic Growth Additives for In-Vitro Propagation in Rangeland Large-Scale Restoration" highlights the benefits of utilizing organic growth additives (OGA) to enhance the in-vitro propagation of shrub/tree species. OGA, with nutritive, antioxidant, and antimicrobial properties, replaces chemical products, facilitating rapid and efficient production of native plant species tailored to local conditions. This approach ensures the production of high-quality, disease-free plants, supporting large-scale restoration of degraded agrosilvopastoral systems (ASPS). Recognizing challenges with poor germination, low seed viability, and specific climatic requirements for native species, the innovative approach involves participatory selection, in-vitro propagation enhancement, and collaboration with agencies and nurseries. Successful evaluations for Salsola vermiculata and Aloe vera validate the methodology. Collaboration with national partners, workshops, and alignment with UN initiatives signify progress. Future plans include validating the innovation for selected species, publication, and promoting the use of native species for ASP restoration.
