| dc.description.abstract | Yam Seed Tracker (YST) module established on the “Seed Tracker” platform for seed yam quality assurance in Nigeria and Ghana. The program designed to fit the seed regulatory guidelines and has been piloted tested in both countries. Necessary ICT capacity established in Nigeria and Ghana, including training of seed regulators on application of YST for seed certification. The tool was formally launched on 21 February 2020 in Abuja, Nigeria. Formal launching event in Ghana was delayed due to Covdi19 but expected to be completed in 2021. The YST has over 500 seed field data mostly from YIIFSWA-II seed yam producers. | en_US |
