The ICT2Scale project is a follow up project of the large “Mind the Gap” project which has used SMS messages as a dissemination strategy to test adoption of technologies. An internal assessment has proven that farmers appreciate the SMS messages but wanted to have a wider range of agricultural information, not only on Kounouz, barley variety and feed blocks as the two technologies promoted during Mind the Gap. Besides other technical information the farmers also requested input price information from local markets. The following report shows the result of a survey carried out with 90 farmers to identify the exact input prices farmers want to receive as well as the kind of crops and livestock they would like to receive technical information for.en_US
