| dc.description.abstract | ICARDA's Board of Trustees (EX) principally evaluates the format of its annual meetings with a view to ensure the relevance of its deliberations to the changing agricultural research scenario. In 1989, the Board revised the format of its annual meeting and structured it as follows: (i) the detailed program presentations were discontinued, (ii) a review of the research activities and achievements was presented by the Director-General (ffi) in his report to the EOT, and (iii) it was decided to hold a seminar on a selected topic of regional or global significance at future meetings. | en_US |
